Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro
Sponsored Ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro
James Beardall was so moved about the work of ASYM and the need of street children he has decided to climb the highest mountain in Africa!
James lives in the UK and met ASYM’s founder Dr Farai Katiro in 2010. ASYM is so grateful that he has taken up this challenge. James describes his adventure:
“In March 2012 I will be attempting to climb Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world (19,340 feet), together with my good friend Martin Charlesworth, who will also be raising funds for another worthy cause. This provides an opportunity for me to seek to raise money for a newly created ministry, namely Africa Street Youth Ministries.”
